My name is Tom Pitera, and Photography Savvy is my way of sharing my passion for photography with other photographers.
I was born in Sarasota, Florida, but I now live and work in the greater Orlando area. In addition to my work as a photographer, I hold a degree in marketing from the University of Central Florida and am a sales associate for Colonial Photo & Hobby, the area's best independent photographic equipment retailer.
My marketing experience extends to my commercial photographic work, which focuses primarily on food, catalog products and the restaurant industry. I'm always interested in trying new techniques and sharing what I've learned with others.
